Courtnay Lynch Joins
Valley First Credit Union’s Leadership Team

Valley First Credit Union is pleased to announce that Courtnay Lynch has been selected as the new Vice President of Human Resources and Training effective August 1, 2019.
Ms. Lynch is a seasoned executive with 30 years of in depth human resources experience in the credit union industry. She has lead credit unions in delivering exceptional quality and efficiency through a superior service philosophy and champions a credit union culture that values collaboration, cooperation and communication.
“The service philosophy was ingrained within me at an early age”, said Lynch, “the credit union motto of ‘People Helping People’ mirrors my personality of philanthropy and service to others.”
As a part of the Valley First senior leadership team, Lynch will oversee human resources strategic planning including: recruitment, leadership development, employee training and engagement; employee relations; compensation and benefits, as well as compliance in federal, state and local human resources law.
Ms. Lynch holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from California State University, Fullerton, as well as a CUNA Credit Union HR Compliance Professional (CUHRCP) designation and is a graduate of Western CUNA Management School, Pomona, CA.
