Fraud Alerts - Enjoy peace of mind while you shop

We detect most fraud before you are aware of it. If we notice suspicious activity, we will contact you by text or phone to confirm activity on the account. It's important for your contact information to be up to date so we can reach you promptly.

You can recognize Valley First fraud alerts by the short code ending in 56. We will never ask you to provide sensitive information like account numbers, passwords, or security numbers through text or email.

How it works

If you receive a Fraud Text Alert from us, you will be promoted to respond.

YES
By texting "YES' you are confirming that the transaction is legitimate. Your card will be unblocked in real-time.
NO
By texting 'NO' you are confirming that you did not make the purchase. We will block the transaction and text you a number to call to validate the purchase(s), prevent any further fraud on the account , and start the process of getting you a new card.
STOP
You can text 'STOP' at anytime to end your text based fraud alerts.
HELP
Text 'HELP' and we will provide you with a number to contact us for questions.
